Jiangsu recently announced the third batch of villages which will pilot development based on their countryside charms and special features. A total of 66 villages in 13 cities were named in the list.
Jiangsu launched the countryside development initiative to make full use of a village’s natural beauty, rustic attraction or special industry back in June 2017. There are now 136 pilot villages designated by the province in the program.
