The unique Jiangnan charms and cultural foundations in Wuxi’s Huishan Ancient Town was showcased at ITB Berlin, the world's leading tourism trade fair held at the Messe Berlin from March 6 to 10.
As the exhibitor of Huishan Ancient Town this time, Wuxi Culture and Tourism Group is attending the trade fair for the tenth year, with a focus on promoting the historic town situated at the foot of Huishan Mountain west of Wuxi.
With forests, parks, gardens and ancient buildings, Huishan Ancient Town has become a tourism icon to represent the typical landscape and culture in Jiangnan, which refers to lands immediately to the south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
The suggested plans included one-day and two-day tours in the ancient town, which will allow visitors to have the best experience of the town’s tourism resources. The town is exploring a new travel model, which help visitors to shift from superficial sightseeing to gain intensive experiences and have access to better service.
