The 409 key industrial investment projects launched in 2019 have posted increasing investment year on year with their structures optimized, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology said on Thursday. More emphasis has been placed on upgrading the core competitiveness of advanced manufacturing industries, cultivating industrial clusters, and focusing on digitalized development, green development and low carbon development
The total investment of 409 projects was 706.25 billion yuan, and the planned investment for the year was 186.14 billion yuan. Among them, 145 new projects were started this year. 134 projects are planned to be completed throughout the year. Upon their completion, these projects are expected to achieve an annual new sales income of 185.27 billion yuan and a profit and tax of 28.73 billion yuan.
This year's key industrial projects boast a large scale, with 176 projects investing over 1 billion yuan, accounting for 43.8% of the total. The investment amount accounts for 86.1% of the provincial total. 11 projects register more than 10 billion yuan and 13 projects 5-10 billion yuan.
Strategic emerging industries and smart manufacturing are the focus and highlights of the investment, represented by 304 and 232 items respectively, accounting for 75.6% and 57.7% of the total projects. The total investment exceeded 600 billion and 400 billion respectively.
Strategic emerging industries will gradually solve the bottlenecks in industrial development by developing industrial common technologies and important equipment products. Intelligent manufacturing projects are expected to accelerate the development of industrial Internet and build a new industrial ecology.
283 projects are launched by private enterprises, accounting for 70.4% of the total, reflecting the enhancement of the confidence of private enterprises and the continuous improvement of the development environment for private enterprises.
