In order to accelerate system innovation and promote the upgrading and development of the comprehensive bonded zones, Nanjing Customs will focus on the individualized development needs of the comprehensive bonded zones in terms of manufacturing, R&D and trade by giving full play to bonded +”mode so as to optimize the business environment and continuously improve supervision model, optimize business processes, improve the mechanism for clearing corporate problems, and effectively enhance the sense of enterprise and society.
Kunshan has stepped up the efforts to open up its service trade sector to the outside world, explore the creation of a service trade comprehensive bonded zone, and has taken the lead in online customs declaration, bonded logistics functions, bonded maintenance supervision, and VAT general taxpayer qualification pilot project. At present, it has formed four industrial clusters such as electronic information, photoelectric display, precision machinery and bonded logistics.
With the accelerated pace of innovation and upgrading, the province's comprehensive bonded zone has further become the pioneering zone of institutional innovation, the incubator of emerging industries and the engine of prioritized imports and exports.
At present, there are 20 comprehensive bonded zones in the province, ranking first in the country. In 2018, the 20 comprehensive bonded zones registered 982.302 billion yuan of import and export volume, an increase of 11.9%, and accounting for 22.4% of the province's entire foreign trade import and export.
