2019 International Four-Nation Youth Basketball Championshipstarted at 7:30 pm on April 23in Wujiang, Suzhou. Four youth basketball teams from China, New Zealand, Denmark and Poland will compete in the three-day competition.
The fourteams are China national youth team, New Zealand national youth team, Denmark Bakken Bears and Poland national youth team. In the opening match of the night,China won the match 85-69 against Denmark with home advantage.
The competition willbesingle round robin system, each team three games, a total of six games.The game is played according to FIBA rules and is divided into four periods of 10 minutes each.The Chinese Basketball Association sent technical representatives and on-court referees to ensure a smooth and fair competition.
During the game, the team will also participate in school activities. At that time, the young players will have close contact with the star players and feel the zest and team spirit of the basketball players to further promote the development of youth basketball.
It is known that the Chinese national youth basketball team will take part in the 2019 U19 world youth basketball championship, which is also an important warm-up match for the U19 World Cup.This is also the first time that International Four-Nation Youth Basketball Championshiphas been held in Wujiang, Suzhou after 2017.
