The finals of the third annual edition of Phoenix Contact Smart Technology Innovation and Application Competition closed in Nanjing over the weekend.
Themed on Inspiring the Next Generation, the competition is sponsored by China Automation Society, China Instrument and Control Society, China Electro-technical Society, and undertaken by Phoenix Contact China.
The competition, officially launched on May 31, 2018, received 180 creative registrations from college students in automation, electrical engineering and other related majors in more than 70 universities nationwide.
29 teams entered the finals that went underway on May 8th at the Nanjing-based headquarters of Phoenix Contact China. The road shows, the most brilliant of all, were staged on May 10th.

The award-giving ceremony was held at the Nanjing-based headquarters of Phoenix Contact China.
The first prize in four categories went to Qingdao University of Science and Technology, Harbin University of Engineering, Zhejiang University and Jinling Institute of Technology.
