Recently, General Administration of Customs announced a new round of survey sample enterprises of China Export Leading Indicator. Our city’s 9 enterprises are on the list, providing fresh "Taizhou data" for this indicator survey in the future.
Export Leading Indicator is called the "weather forecast" of foreign trade export. It is compiled and released by the General Administration of Customs on a regular basis and has been included in the national statistics project. It is a comprehensive index that can predict and warn the export in the next 2 to 3 months, playing an important role in the scientific analysis of export trend.
9 enterprises in Taizhou is selected, involving in biological medicine and high performance medical apparatus, high-end equipment manufacturing and high technology of ship industry, chemical industry and new materials. They are all enterprises with large-scale import and export, good credit and perfect enterprise management. In 2018, their export value accounted for 16 percent of the city's total export value.
