East China’s Jiangsu province will make further efforts to forestall and defuse financial risks, according to a meeting held on Sunday.
Wu Zhenglong pointed out that since the 18th National Congress of the Party, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core has attached great importance to forestalling and resolving major risks.
He urged government departments at all levels to further enhance their political stance, strengthen their sense of political responsibility to prevent and mitigate risks, and follow the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the decision-making arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council in their mindset and actions.
Greater efforts should be made to forestall risks and stabilize financial affairs from the political height of strengthening the four consciousnesses and the four self-confidences, safeguarding the authority of the CPC Central Committee and getting united around the centralized and unified leadership the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, he said.
The Governor stressed that it is necessary to coordinate development and security, adhere to the problem-oriented approaches, and prevent and resolve major financial risks in the overall situation of advancing the modernization of the governance system and capacity.
