The nation's largest plasmid virus workshop was launched in Zhenjiang on Wednesday to provide new solutions for the industrialization of gene therapy drugs.

The plasmid virus workshop, with a total area of about 5,000 square meters, was built by Kingsray Biotechnology Co., Ltd.. The plasmid and virus workshops each have 4 production lines and can simultaneously carry out process development for more than 20 projects. It is currently the largest plasmid virus workshop in China and can achieve rapid transformation from preclinical research to clinical trials.
The successful operation of the plasmid virus workshop marked that Kingsray's biomedical contract R & D and production organization platform has become the largest one-stop biopharmaceutical discovery and development service platform in Jiangsu. The development of its innovative treatment technology and bio-innovative drugs will also add new impetus to the development of Jiangsu's bio-pharmaceutical industry.
