A team of medical experts from east China’s Jiangsu province has held a video conference in Venezuela for the Chinese nationals there so as to provide professional instructions and give expert advice on the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus epidemic or COVID-19.
Chen Lu, a nurse from the Drum Tower Hospital of Nanjing, told the Chinese nationals in Venezuela the rights steps of wearing masks and hand sanitizing. The experts also answered questions raised by the Chinese nationals. More than 200 people from the Chinese Embassy in Venezuela, the staff of local Chinese-funded enterprises and the Overseas Chinese in the South American country watched the online lecture. The medical team from east China’s Jiangsu province arrived in Caracas, capital of Venezuela, on March 30. The team of 8 front-line experts from Jiangsu will help contain the novel coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic in the South American country.
