He noted that the two reports have upheld the Xi Jinping Thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era and the Party’s absolute leadership, fulfilled the responsibilities entrusted by the Constitution and laws, served high-quality development, advanced the modernization of judicial system and capacity for the benefits of the people, and played an important role in promoting the modernization of the national governance system and governance capabilities.
He remarked that the work report of the Supreme People's Court and the work report of the Supreme People's Procuratorate upheld the Xi Jinping Thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, analyzed weak links in all aspects of work and responded to public concern.
In recent years, the Supreme People’s Court and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate have taken concrete and pragmatic measures to safeguard national security and social stability, ensure the implementation of major national strategies, and create a favorable development environment, said Lou.
According to the CPC provincial chief, the Supreme People’s Court and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate have turned more innovative in judicial practices by continuing to deepen judicial reform exploration, focusing on modern information technology to improve the level of smart justice, and achieve the unification of legal and social effects through the publicity and guidance of typical cases.
Lou Qinjian said that Jiangsu's trial and procuratorial work is at the forefront of the country with many experiences and practices popularized throughout the country so that it has made active contributions to the province's reform and development.
