For many elders in their 70s and 80s, wedding photo was simply beyond their wildest imagination when they tied the knot in their teenage years. Now a number of volunteer photographers have shot wedding photos for more than 300 elderly couples in Nanjing. Our staff reporter has the story.

"Our studio was launched to make up for the regret that the elderly couples did not take wedding photos when they were married.However, during the shooting process,we learned that the elderly couples had more regrets.For example,they did not have a marriage certificate at the time or they did not hold a wedding ceremony and in some other cases they did not take the wedding photos. When we took wedding photos of the grandpas and grandmas,we also helped them make an appointment with the Civil Affairs Bureau to register for a new marriage certificate."said Zhang Zhihang, Head of Everlasting Love Photo Studio
"During the shooting,we noticed a pair of grandparents whispering.The grandpa kept saying to the grandma I love you and you are so beautiful today.What’s more,they did not want us to hear their sweet words.They are really sweet."said Tan Chenjiahao, A volunteer photographer
