59 outstanding Party members from east China’s Jiangsu province left Nanjing for Beijing Friday morning to attend the award-giving ceremony of the July 1st Medal.
Guo Yuanqiang, member of the Standing Committee and head of the Organization Department of the Provincial Party Committee, gave a speech.
Extending the warmest greetings to the awardees, Guo said the high standard of respect and courtesy fully reflects the cordial care of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core.
He said the presence at the award-giving ceremony of the July 1st Medal is symbolic in that it carries the expectations of the 5.4 million Party members and 269 thousand grassroots party organizations in Jiangsu.
