Athletes from east China’s Jiangsu province have 27 gold medals, 19 silver medals and 20 bronze medals at the ongoing National Games. Let’s take a close look.
Jiangsu player Bao Yingfeng clinched the gold medal in the individual equestrian triathlon. This was also the first time that an individual equestrian triathlon from Jiangsu won the National Games championship.
"Today I won the national championship. I will prepare for the Olympics in the next step," said Bao Yingfeng, Gold Medalist of Individual Equestrian Triathlon.
Sun Qihao, a player of the Jiangsu Track and Field Team, won the champion of the men's decathlon, and Hu Yufei won the runner-up.
The two Jiangsu players competed in 10 events including 100 race, long jump, shot put, and high jump in two days.
"The goal before the start of the game is to be able to enter the top 6, because it is the first National Games in my life. I trained very hard so I played well in the competition,"said Sun Qihao, Player of Jiangsu Track and Field Team.
