Wu Zhenglong, Secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, visited on Thursday the Department of Organization of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee on an inspection tour.
Wu Zhenglong requested organizational departments at all levels in the province to follow the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era, study General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on party building and organizational work, and implementing the general requirements for party building in the new era and the party’s organizational line in the new era.
When addressing a symposium during the inspection tour, Wu Zhenglong pointed out that the key to development lies in talents and cadres, and the new starting point and new journey have put forward new and higher requirements for organizational work.
He requested further efforts to follow the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era and General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on party building and organizational work from the political height of strengthening the four consciousnesses and the four self-confidences, safeguarding the authority of the CPC Central Committee and getting united around the centralized and unified leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core so as to promote the high-quality development of organizational work.
Wu Zhenglong emphasized the need to cultivate politically reliable and outstanding cadres, focus on building cadres and talent teams that meet the requirements of modernization, and strengthen the party's leadership of the cadre team.
The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested more efforts to strengthen the leadership lineup, strengthen the training of young cadres, and continuously improve the ability to implement new development concepts, build a new development paradigm, and promote high-quality development.
Wu Zhenglong asked organizational departments at all levels in the province to further strengthen the supervision and management of cadres, improve the strict management system, strengthen the all-round management of cadres, encourage and support cadres to take up responsibility and be bold enough to fight, and educate cadres to establish a correct outlook on achievements in their official career.
He urged organizational departments at all levels to strengthen the party’s organizational system, give full play to the role of primary-level party organizations as a battle fortress, the leading role of party organization leaders, and the vanguard role of the party members so as to promote the further development of primary-level party organizations.
