Since last year, Jiangsu has made achievements in promoting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta and the development of the Yangtze River Delta region has a greater responsibility for stabilizing the national economy in the face of the current complex situations at home and abroad, according to the statement.
It is necessary to study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and important instructions, implement the policies and decisions of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, adhere to goal-oriented, problem-oriented, and result-oriented approaches and accelerate the promotion of various key tasks in order to make greater contributions to promoting the higher-quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, the statement said.
Jiangsu will fulfill the political responsibility of stabilizing the macro economy, continuously optimize the business environment, actively expand effective investment, fully tap the consumption potential, maintain the stable and healthy operation of the economy, and ensure a good start in the first quarter, said the statement.
In the meantime, Jiangsu will make greater efforts to promote technological and industrial innovation, give full play to the respective advantages of the four provincial-level administrative regions in the Yangtze River Delta, accelerate the in-depth integration of technology and industry, strengthen key core technologies, and enhance the stability and security of the industrial chain and supply chain so as to be a pioneer in technological and industrial innovation, according to the statement.
Jiangsu will also further enhance the interconnection of infrastructure by promoting rail transit system, water transit network, world-class airport cluster in the Yangtze River Delta and the digital Yangtze River Delta, launch a number of major investment projects, strive to achieve a smoother flow of regional factors, promote a higher level of coordinated opening, create a new path for institutional opening, further play the role of Jiangsu Free Trade Zone and Development Zone, and promote in-depth cooperation between inter-provincial adjacent areas , to accelerate the construction of a two-way open hub with world cohesion, said the statement.
Targeted measures will be taken to strengthen the coordination of epidemic prevention and control and emergency management, weave a solid epidemic prevention and control network, establish and improve a coordinated development system, carry out special rectification actions for production safety, and continue to troubleshoot and defuse potential risks in various fields to ensure that the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta will achieve practical results and welcome the convening of the 20th National Congress of China with practical actions, the statement said.
