East China’s Jiangsu province got off to a flying start on the first working day of the lunar new year after a week-long recess in the spring festival holiday. Let’s take a close look. 

On the first working day of the Lunar New Year, Nanjing Administrative Service Center opened 113 service windows of 57 government departments in 4 service halls.

"We fulfilled the requirements set forth by the epidemic prevention and control headquarters one day in advance,and at the same time tested the service network and hardware in advance."said Xia Yinlong,  Chief Clerk, Nanjing Administrative Service Center

"In the new year,we will further optimize the data resources of various government departments and strengthen the quality and efficiency of handling high-frequency matters."said Qiu Zhen, Deputy Chief of Administrative Approval Service Division of Nanjing Public Security Bureau

Envision Power started Monday morning the construction of the second phase of the battery manufacturing base of the 10-billion-yuan project in Jiangyin Lingang Development Zone.

Jinhu County started construction of 51 large-scale investment projects on Monday. Totaling more than 27.7 billion yuan of investment, the projects are centered on infrastructure, urban and rural construction, high-end industries, livelihood projects, and global tourism.

Sihong County restarted the Hongze Lake flood detention construction project with 20 excavators and transport vehicles busy renovating river channels, leveling embankments, and transporting earthwork.

In the meantime, nearly 1000 migrant workers from Shanxi, Shaanxi and Henan returned to Kunshan on Monday. 85 thousand migrant workers are expected to land their jobs in Kunshan before February 15.  

Offline and online job fairs were held in Suzhou, Changzhou, Wuxi and Jurong to offer thousands of job vacancies for job seekers in the lunar new year.
