The Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment announced on Wednesday ten key tasks for ecological and environmental protection work in 2022.
The ten key tasks involve gas control, water control, soil control, ecological environment supervision and law enforcement, and ecological environment safety. Each task has a specific time frame so as to strive for refined promotion.
Jiangsu will continue to focus on source governance this year, especially in the construction of ecological environment infrastructure, improving the level of clean production of enterprises, and actively carrying out the construction of "no-waste cities" and "ecological islands" in the whole region so as to further advance the tough battle of pollution prevention and control, and promote the continuous improvement of the quality of the ecological environment.
