The Jiangsu Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention has issued a reminder for enterprises to strengthen epidemic prevention and control as migrant workers are returning to work after a week-long recess during the spring festival holiday.
Restaurants in Nanjing have remained open during the spring festival holiday with a few workers asking for leave and returning to their hometowns for family reunion.
The workers have all returned to Nanjing and they are allowed to resume work after undergoing home-based medical observation and presenting a valid nucleic acid test negative report within 48 hours.
The provincial center for disease control has reminded the migrant workers to take nucleic acid test before leaving their hometowns for their destinations in Jiangsu and another test upon arrival.Disease control experts reminded that migrant workers must take protective measures on the way back to Jiangsu, and should seek medical treatment in time in case they feel uncomfortable.
