Jiangsu Women's Football Team started on Wednesday the first training in the lunar new year. On February 6, the Chinese women's football team won the Asian Cup. Among the 23 players in the Asian Cup, 6 players and 2 coaches are from Jiangsu Women's Football Team.
After an 8-day Spring Festival holiday, the players of the Jiangsu Women's Football Team started their first practice in the Year of the Tiger to prepare for the new season.
The girls trained extra hard, because of their persistence in their dreams, and also the inspiration by the Chinese women's football winning the Asian Cup.
Among the 23 Chinese women's football players competing in the Asian Cup, Wang Xiaoxue, Yao Lingwei, Wu Chengshu, Ma Jun, Xu Huan and Li Mengwen, as well as goalkeeper coach Cheng Xiaoyu and assistant coach Zhang Jun are from Jiangsu women's football team.
Since 1998, the Jiangsu women's football team has become the backbone of the Chinese women's football team by sending a large number of outstanding players.
In 2022, the Jiangsu Women's Football Team will compete in the Women's Super League, the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, and the 15th National Games in 2025.
