East China’s Jiangsu province held on Monday the fourth joint meeting and work promotion meeting on the construction and reform of the provincial industrial worker team. Wu Zhenglong, secretary of the provincial party committee, gave a written instruction. Hui Jianlin, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
Noting that Jiangsu is a major manufacturing powerhouse and a major province with a large amount of industrial workers, Wu Zhenglong pointed out in his written instruction that efforts must be made to adhere to the guidance of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and thoroughly study, implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on the construction and reform of the industrial workforce, give full play to the province’s role of being a national pilot and welcome the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with practical actions.
While speaking highly of the province’s progress in the reform of the industrial workers, Hui Jianlin pointed out that it is necessary to conscientiously implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on industrial worker reform work, fully implement the deployment requirements of the provincial party committee and the provincial government, and take the opportunity to meet the national assessment and evaluation to promote industrial worker reform.
