East China’s Jiangsu province has issued a series of policies and documents since the beginning of this year to clarify the roadmap and timetable for the development of the cultural industry and gear up for accelerated growth.
Statistics show that last year, 8,611 cultural and related industries enterprises above designated size in the province achieved operating income of 1,253.97 billion yuan, an increase of 16.7% over the same period of the previous year.
The revenue of emerging cultural industries accounted for 24.7%, demonstrating a significantly improving quality and benefits of cultural industry development.
Wuxi National Digital Film Industrial Park is promoting the third phase of the project as scheduled. Aiming at the industry development trend of film industry 4.0, the industrial park highlights the development of digital film and television, and also launched the construction project of the Metaverse Innovation Industrial Park.

In the meantime, local governments have issued documents to enhance the competitiveness of the cultural industry, promote the digital transformation of the cultural industry, and in-depth integration of culture and technology by offering policy "gifts" to the enterprises.
