The Yangtze River Delta Park for the Transformation of Advanced Technological Achievements was put into use in Suzhou city on Tuesday. Governor Xu Kunlin delivered a speech at the launch ceremony. Zhang Kejian, director of the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, addressed the event.
Xu Kunlin said that since its inauguration one year ago the Yangtze River Delta Transformation Center for Advanced Technological Achievements has actively explored the "two-way transformation" model, built a transformation ecology of "integrated development, open development, and mutual aid development", and promoted the implementation of a number of transformation projects for significant results.
The governor said efforts must be made to promote the construction of transformation centers, highlight and strengthen scientific and technological collaborative innovation in key areas, introduce a number of advanced achievements that promote technological iteration and product upgrades, and accelerate the market-oriented application and large-scale promotion of achievements, and strive to seize the new highland of scientific and technological innovation strategy.
Xu Kunlin remarked that we must spare no effort to promote the settlement of more high-end carriers, high-end projects and high-end talents by taking advantage of the advanced technological achievements transformation park in the Yangtze River Delta as a new starting point so as to inject strong momentum into the high-quality economic and social development and the creation of high-quality life for the people.
Zhang Kejian pointed out that the transformation of advanced technological achievements is an important part of scientific and technological innovation activities.
The transformation center must shoulder the mission, speed up exploration and practice, grasp market laws, utilize capital power, cultivate professional teams, provide high-quality services, release the potential of achievements, cultivate more high-quality enterprises, and make new contributions to economic and social development.
