East China’s Jiangsu province sent its 9th aid team in 2019 for the paired-up support of Tibet. Over the past three years, the officials Jiangsu sent to work in Tibet have spared no efforts to help promote the local social and economic development.

Built with an investment of 20 million yuan, this modern eyewear hypermarket with the largest scale, complete functional areas and the highest degree of specialization in Tibet has a business area of more than 2,000 square meters and advanced optical and optometry equipment at home and abroad.

While meeting the consumer demand for glasses in Lhasa, the the paired-up support aid team sent 16 employees to Danyang for training.

With the support of the Jiangsu Tibet Aid Program, the National Modern Agriculture Demonstration Zone of Caina Township, Qushui County, Lhasa City has built a rose processing factory, a wine processing factory, and 136 high-efficiency intelligent greenhouses. 

This demonstration zone provides jobs for more than 600 people. In the efficient and intelligent greenhouse, Anai, a 34-year-old Tibetan youth, is busy working in the watermelon planting greenhouse in Qushui.

In the past two years, Anai has learned advanced planting experience with the help of the Jiangsu Aid-Tibet Working Group, and has become an excellent new professional farmer in the local area.

8 functional parks constructed in Lhasa under the aid program have employed more than 2,800 poor people and helped them get rid of poverty and become rich. "Gesang Huakai College Students Employment and Entrepreneurship Special Training Camp" ensures the employment of the first batch of 32 local college students.
