An exhibition of metal handicrafts is now being held at the Zhangjiagang Museum.
The exhibition, which kicked off on Aug. 28, is one of the important activities of the 2022 Yangtze River Culture Festival. It features 179 pieces (sets) of metal handicrafts of 37 representative intangible cultural heritage (ICH) items from various provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in the Yangtze River Basin, including 67 pieces (sets) of exhibits of 18 national ICH representative items. The exhibition is divided into four parts: “Light of Civilization”, “Light of Art”, “Light of Life” and “Light of Innovation”, which fully demonstrates the charm of metal craftsmanship in the Yangtze River Basin.
The exhibition will last until Sept. 28.
