Universities in Nanjing have ushered in the fall semester to fuel the campuses with youth vitality. Let’s take a close look.
On September 11, Nanjing University welcomed 3,907 undergraduate freshmen. They will study at the Gulou campus and will be transferred to the corresponding departments of each campus in one year.
At the new student reception station on the Gulou campus, Hu Jinbo, secretary of the CPC Nanjing University Party Committee, learned about the registration of new students and encouraged each new student to continuously pursue excellence and release their ideals through their studies at NTU.
Among the freshmen, there is a pair of twin brothers from the Middle School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University. The elder brother Wang Jiaxu was admitted to the science experimental class, and the younger brother Diao Jialin was admitted to the electronic information class.

Military training is the "first lesson" for undergraduate freshmen. At the Taoyuan Athletics Field on the Jiulonghu Campus of Southeast University, freshmen of the 2022 class conducted a battlefield comprehensive skills competition.
The tactical movements, bandaging and rescue, light weapons theory, standard backpacking, armed off-road, and nuclear, biological and chemical protection taught in the general training of the competition will strengthen the national defense concept of young college students through the competitive mode.
