The second Yangtze River Delta Digital Financial Industry Innovation Week opened in Suzhou on Monday. Among the leaders present at the opening ceremony were Fan Yifei, Vice President of the People's Bank of China, Cao Lubao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee, and Ma Xin, Vice Governor of Jiangsu.
This conference is a grand gathering of digital finance in the Yangtze River Delta region. Many academicians of the Academy of Sciences and industry leaders participated in the conference for the highest-standard cryptographic competition in China.
In his speech, Fan Yifei demanded further efforts to firmly grasp the new opportunities of digital, networked and intelligent integrated development, give full play to the driving role of digital technology and data elements, and take planning as the guide to push the development of digital finance to a new height. He hoped that Suzhou would take the opportunity of the Digital Finance Industry Innovation Week to further deepen understanding, deepen practical cooperation, and jointly create a new chapter in the development of digital finance.
Cao Lubao said in his speech that since the beginning of this year, Suzhou has made every effort to seize the main track of the new digital economy track and plan to promote the construction of industrial innovation clusters, adding that finance is not only an important support for the construction of industrial innovation clusters, but also a key area for building industrial innovation clusters.
Suzhou welcomed more financial enterprises and high-end service institutions to gather in Suzhou to further enrich the financial industry and high-end service institutions of accounting, law and intellectual property to gather in Suzhou to optimize financial services and further enrich Suzhou's financial business.
In his speech, Ma Xin said that in the first half of the year, the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government convened a digital economy development promotion meeting, issued guidelines, and made a comprehensive deployment of digitalization in various fields including digital finance.
He hoped that Suzhou would take this event as an opportunity to continuously deepen the pilot program of financial reform, focus on promoting the depth of the digital technology of the Ministry of Finance, strive to build a benchmark city for digital financial innovation, and provide more Suzhou experience for the development of the digital financial industry.
The pilot project of digital RMB loans for small and micro enterprises in Suzhou was launched at the ceremony. 1.307 billion yuan of digital RMB loans were issued, and a number of key digital financial industry projects and innovation cluster fund projects were signed.
