Jiangsu's imports and exports to Shanghai Cooperation Organization member countries other than China in the first three quarters increased by 24% year-on-year. SCO member states include China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, India and Pakistan.
At the Sino Kazakhstan (Lianyungang) logistics cooperation base, containers were being loaded with household appliances, mechanical equipment, living materials to get ready for shipment on the China Europe train to Kazakhstan and other SCO member countries along the New Eurasian Continental Bridge.
The customs promoted the declaration, inspection and distribution of goods after arrival at the port, making the whole process paperless, further improving the shipping efficiency, accurately helping Lianyungang to tap the transit market, expand the source of return goods, and boost the quality and quantity of China Europe trains.

Liu Guiming, Chief of Logistics Management Section of Lianyungang Customs Office
