East China’s Jiangsu province has made every effort to promote the construction of 450 provincial major industrial investment projects, and a number of advanced manufacturing projects that have been put into operation have become the source of high-quality development.
By the end of October, 450 provincial major industrial projects had completed 95.5% of the annual planned investment, 12.2 percentage points ahead of schedule. It is expected that the annual target will be completed one month ahead of schedule.
163 of the 169 major industrial projects have been started, accounting for 92.3% of the total. 67 projects have been completed this year.
High tech ships and marine engineering equipment, new medical devices, high-end textiles, integrated circuits and new displays have all completed their annual investment goals.
In Jiangsu Lianyungang National Petrochemical Industry Base, the 800-ton POE polyolefin elastomer pilot plant of Sierbang Petrochemical produced qualified products, breaking the monopoly of foreign enterprises and making Sierbang a national enterprise with independent technology to produce photovoltaic EVA and POE mainstream photovoltaic membrane materials.
