The 2022 "Hi Jiangsu" Foreign Media's Visit to Jiangsu was launched in Nanjing’s "World Literature Living Room" Tuesday morning under the sponsorship of China Daily and the Information Office of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government.
Zhang Aijun, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and head of the Publicity Department, and Qu Yingpu, president and chief editor of China Daily, attended the launch ceremony.
The activity with the theme of "Ten Years of Pursuing Dreams, the Most Beautiful Trip to Jiangsu" will be held through online communication and offline visits.
From November 15 to 20, nearly 10 ambassadors, media reporters and video bloggers from Greece, South Korea, Türkiye, Mauritius, Venezuela, the United States and some other countries and regions will visit Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou and Nantong to learn about Jiangsu from aspects of the economy, science and technology, culture, ecology, people's livelihood, and record the achievements of the new Jiangsu construction in the past decade.
The "Hi Jiangsu" foreign media visit to Jiangsu is a large-scale publicity brand activity jointly launched by the Information Office of Jiangsu Provincial Government and China Daily.
Since its establishment in 2015, it has successfully held six sessions by inviting nearly 100 journalists from 60 media from 30 countries and regions to visit 11 prefecture level cities in Jiangsu, showing the world a credible, lovely and respectable image of China and Jiangsu.
