The Special Session for Young Scholars of the 16th Academic Conference of Jiangsu Social Science Circles was kicked off Sunday in Nanjing under the sponsorship of the Publicity Department of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Federation of Social Sciences. The Second Jiangsu Social Science Talent Forum was held concurrently.
120 experts and scholars conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the given topics. Experts said that young scholars should base themselves on the new era and new journey, focus on the academic frontier, promote discipline exchanges, promote theoretical innovation, serve scientific decision-making, and strive to grow into new people of the era who can shoulder the heavy task of national rejuvenation.
In recent years, Jiangsu has made great efforts to build the "333 high-level talent training project" and Zijin cultural talent training project with a group of young scholars gradually becoming the backbone and supporting force of the province's professional talent team construction.
Young scholars said that they should further strengthen academic research and exchanges based on their respective fields, and make greater contributions to promoting social science innovation and the province’s high-quality development.
