People in east China’s Jiangsu province are taking advantage of the recent spell of fine weather to go to the outdoors for sightseeing and relaxation.
Taking advantage of the fine weather at the weekend, Ms. Wang, a Changzhou citizen, and her friend's family, seven in total, started an RV accommodation experience at the Taihu Bay camping valley.
Since the New Year's Day, the number of tourists in Taihu Bay Camping Valley has increased day by day, peaking nearly 5000 tourists during the weekend.
Most tourists focus on parent-child tours, and unpowered amusement parks, mountain go-karts and sightseeing trains are among the popular items.
Ben Wei, Operation Director of Changzhou Taihu Bay Camp Valley, said that they have 128 rooms, 80% of which are occupied on weekdays and almost fully booked on weekends. They predict that all the rooms will be fully booked during the Spring Festival.
In Yangzhou Heyuan Scenic Spot, the plantain trees stand tall and straight, the magnolia leaves in the corridor turn orange, and the vines climb over the rockeries, presenting an unique winter scenery.
“I'm going to visit all over Jiangsu and Zhejiang. We come out to travel at this stage because there are few tourists and it's very comfortable”, Ms. Liu from Beijing said.
The wintersweet in the flower botanical garden in Xiangcheng District has opened in succession, and the golden flowers add a vitality to the winter.
Along the circular path, you can enjoy the plants with different shapes and varieties on both sides. As the breeze blows, the air is full of winter flowers.
With the gradual recovery of the cultural tourism market, major tourist attractions in Jiangsu plan to launch a variety of wonderful activities during the Spring Festival to further enrich the tourist experience.
Hou Boyang, Head of Suzhou (China) Flower and Botanical Garden, said that in addition to viewing their flowers, tourists can also experience some amusement projects in the park, such as feeding peacocks. They can also drive their off-road vehicles.
