According to the goal of opening to traffic this year, the construction team is building the South Yangtze River Intercity Railway at full gear by completing 475.68 km of track laying, extending to Taicang in the east and to Nanjing in the west, accounting for 78.5% of the total.
At the same time, the construction team has completed 99 groups of turnout construction, accounting for 65% of the total, to ensure that the track laying is completed in April.

The 36.12-kilometer-long Suzhou Metro Line 6 runs from northwest to southeast to become an important trunk hub connecting the High-tech Zone, Gusu District, Industrial Park and Wuzhong District, which is expected to further strengthen the traffic on both sides of the Jinji Lake.
The Changzhou - Taixing Yangtze River Bridge, the world's largest span cable-stayed bridge for both highway and railway, has been raised to 214 meters by the construction team, and is about to enter the closure construction of the middle tower.

The Changzhou - Taixing Yangtze River Bridge, which will open to traffic in 2025, will be the first river-crossing channel on the Yangtze River integrating expressway, intercity railway and ordinary highway. It will play an important role in strengthening the connection between Changzhou and Taizhou and promoting the regional integration of the Yangtze River Delta.
