According to the latest policies to stimulate economic recovery, container transport vehicles entering and leaving the main loading and collecting points of the China-Europe freight trains will continue to enjoy toll-free access to all roads in the province in the next five years, which has greatly strengthened the development confidence of logistics enterprises.
Since April 1st, international standard container transport vehicles will be granted a 50% discount on ETC tolls at all highway toll stations in the province for entering and leaving major container ports with an annual throughput of 2 million TEUs, or major container ports with an annual throughput of 1 million TEUs and a growth rate of more than the average level of the province for three consecutive years.

These preferential policies will first of all benefit Taicang Port, Lianyungang Port, Nanjing Port and Nantong Port. The policies will also have a dynamic mechanism. As long as all ports meet the requirements
they can immediately enjoy preferential treatment, to ensure that the policy is more universal and incentive, which will promote the balanced development of ports and improve the overall competitiveness of ports.
At the same time, Jiangsu will encourage port enterprises to strengthen cooperation with large international liner companies and domestic shipping backbone enterprises, sign long-term contracts with liner companies, promote the deep integration of various transportation modes, further improve the comprehensive transportation efficiency, and reduce social logistics costs.
