The 12th Jiangsu International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition, which is being held in Nanjing for three days, showcases a large number of modern agricultural new technologies and equipment. More than 300 agricultural machinery enterprises from 10 countries and regions including the United States, Italy, and the Netherlands participated in the exhibition.

CNH Global has launched a multifunctional controller that can complete all operations of agricultural machinery operations using only the handle buttons. This machine can also establish a dedicated electronic file for the operation of agricultural machinery for each specific small field, making it easy to start with one click during agricultural machinery operations.

"In the past, our agricultural machinery operators needed to operate many handles, and even though they were very professional, they still had moments of fatigue. Now, through centralized settings, the cultivation of each plot can be carried out using corresponding operation methods, ensuring that even if another person operates, the same work efficiency can be achieved," said Cao Xujun, Asia Pacific Business Product Training Lecturer at CNH Global.

Many companies have demonstrated solutions for unmanned operations throughout the entire process of agricultural production in fields and facilities.

Compared with the previous simple pursuit of unmanned operation, these enterprises have launched module packages that can be assembled by farmers themselves by integrating satellite navigation, unmanned intelligent agricultural machinery equipment, and agricultural technologies for fertilizer and drug conservation, yield measurement in order to collect the entire process data of agricultural production and better guide agricultural production.

"Based on the integration of these data, from the original experience of farming to the current scientific farming, this installation can achieve precise operations in the entire process of cultivation, planting, management, and harvesting so as to better save costs, increase efficiency, improve quality, and boost production," said Wang Yongpeng, Technical Manager of Shanghai Lianshi Navigation Technology Co., Ltd.

A Jiangsu-based company has exhibited a self-developed crop growth survey and monitoring robot, which looks like a puppy and is particularly eye-catching when working.

Compared with previous tracked field patrol robots, this robot's four-legged walking design not only minimizes the pressure on seedlings caused by tracks and wheels, but also has high-definition cameras close to the ground and at both ends, which are more conducive to detecting early lesions in seedlings.

"Our robot targets pests and diseases at the base and bottom of the stem, so it can detect pests and diseases faster and more timely. Early detection can ensure that we spray pesticides and waste more accurately and intelligently, reducing pesticide use by around 50% to 60%," said Guan Zhengchao, Deputy General Manager of Su Huihe Rongzhi Information Technology Co., Ltd.
