Science and technology think tanks in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui recently jointly released the 2022 report on "Yangtze River Delta Regional Collaborative Innovation Index".
The report shows that the Yangtze River Delta Regional Collaborative Innovation Index has increased from 100 points in 2011 to 247.11 points in 2021, nearly a 1.5-fold increase. In recent years, the Yangtze River Delta has accelerated the gathering of innovative resources such as research and development funds, talents, platforms, and facilities. In 2021, the R&D investment intensity reached 3.01%, exceeding the national average level by nearly 30%. For every 10000 people, there are 71.18 R&D personnel per year, which is nearly twice the national average.
