East China’s Jiangsu province has accelerated the construction of a pilot zone for scientific and technological innovation and financial reform, according to a promotional meeting held on Monday. Ma Xin, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor, delivered a speech, and Chen Zhichang, Mayor of Nanjing, attended the meeting.
Ma Xin pointed out that Nanjing has a strong foundation for scientific and technological innovation with relatively concentrated financial resources, making it a destination of good foundation and conditions for promoting scientific and technological innovation and financial reform.
He urged Nanjing to adhere to a demand-oriented approach, focus on building a financial service system that is compatible with the entire life cycle of innovative science and technology enterprises, take reform as the driving force, promote the efficient flow and integrated development of high-quality science and technology innovation and financial resources, help build an advanced manufacturing base with international competitiveness in the Yangtze River Delta and with synergy as the basis, create a good ecological environment for the development of scientific and technological innovation and financial reform and a strong atmosphere for the construction of an experimental zone.
