Officials and the people of Jiangsu said that they should keep in mind the General Secretary's instructions, muster the spirit of entrepreneurship, adhere to the real economy, promote the construction of a strong manufacturing province through industrial clusters and chains, build a modern industrial system, step up domestic and international circulation, and strive to write a new chapter in the modernization drive of a new Jiangsu.
“General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech provided action guidance and fundamental guidance for Jiangsu to build a modern industrial system and promote high-quality development of the manufacturing industry. The provincial industrial and information technology system will aim to lead the overall goal of high-quality development, accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system, fully implement the "Action Plan for Accelerating the Construction of a Strong Manufacturing Province", focus on 16 advanced manufacturing industry clusters and 50 industrial chains, and launching a "1650" industrial development promotion system, enterprise technology innovation system, traditional industry revitalization system, intelligent transformation and digital development system so as to make every effort to promote high-end, intelligent and green manufacturing, optimize and upgrade the industrial system, improve the supply chain resilience and safety level of the industrial chain, and accelerate the construction of a manufacturing province with leading quality and efficiency and international competitiveness”, Zhu Aixun, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, said.

Nanjing Customs will also implement 29 measures to optimize the business environment, focus on strategic emerging industrial clusters such as integrated circuit and biomedicine, and make every effort to promote the stability of Jiangsu's foreign trade structure and ensure a good beginning of the new practice of Chinese path to modernization in Jiangsu.
Since the beginning of this year, with the deepening implementation of the industrial foundation reconstruction project, Jiangsu has made breakthroughs in key basic technologies with the emergence of more high-quality enterprises and continuously improved the modernization level of its industrial system.
