Flight GG4864 carrying 99 tons of cargo took off from Nanjing Lukou International Airport on Tuesday, marking the official opening of the international all cargo flight from Nanjing to New York.
The flight is to be operated three times a week, and can transport about 110 tons when fully loaded. The outbound cargo is mainly cross-border e-commerce cargo, and the inbound cargo is mainly aquatic animal such as Boston lobster from the United States.
The opening of this flight route can effectively meet the demand of local enterprises in Nanjing for timely transportation of exported goods to the Americas, and further expand the air transportation channels in the Yangtze River Delta region towards the Americas.
