Xin Changxing, Secretary of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, required Party committees all over the province to promote high-quality development and create high-quality life with a correct view of political achievements. He made the remarks on Tuesday when meeting with the local people of Yangzhou concerning public complaints and proposals.
When inspecting the Yangzhou Reception Center for Public Complaints and Proposals, Xin Changxing learned about the workflow and the handling of letters and visits.
He pointed out that the effectiveness of petition work depends on whether the people are satisfied, as petition work is related to safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the people and maintaining social harmony and stability.
Xin Changxing met the people who were visiting the Reception Center for Public Complaints and Proposals. Some visitors complained that the newly purchased commercial housing was in a shutdown state, and some others complained that migrant workers' wages were in arrears for a long time.
After being briefed on relevant situations, Xin Changxing worked with local party committees, governments, functional departments such as housing and construction, public complaints and proposals to provide solutions one by one.
He said that petition work is a bridge and link between the Party and the government to connect with the masses, and an important window for understanding social conditions and public opinion. When the masses come to the petition window, they have full trust in us. We must empathize and understand the urgency of the masses, think from the perspective of the masses, and win their recognition and support with sincerity, care, and patience.
During the inspection tour in Yangzhou, Xin Changxin met with the officials in charge of public complaints and proposals at the grassroots level and extended his sincere thanks for their hard work and dedication.
He pointed out that the "Pujiang Experience" is a good practice and experience that General Secretary Xi Jinping personally advocated, planned, and set an example during his terms of office in Zhejiang, which embodies the fundamental purpose of our party, the people's stance, and the concept of the masses.
We should deeply understand the rich connotation and essence of the "Pujiang Experience", firmly follow the mass line, do a good job of public complaints and proposals with heart and feelings, and achieve new improvements in promoting the modernization of social governance.
When inspecting ZTE Paineng Battery Co., Ltd., a high-tech enterprise focusing on the R&D and manufacturing of energy storage battery systems, Xin Changxing made detailed inquiry into technology iteration, product performance, raw material prices and market sales.
Noting that energy storage plays an important role in the energy revolution, and the market space is very broad, he hoped that the enterprise will continue to deepen its professional fields, closely integrate the development of new energy and energy storage industries, continue to tackle core technologies, actively expand application models, and make greater contributions to building a modern industrial system.
During the inspection tour to Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fibre Company, Xin Changxing visited the company’s research institute to learn about innovative products and observed the progress of new project construction on the spot. He hoped that the enterprise would adhere to the direction of high-end, intelligent and green development, keep the bottom line of safe development, accelerate the research and development of cutting-edge technologies, constantly improve the added value of products, take a new step in intensive and connotative development, and show new achievements in strengthening the industrial chain.
