Xu Kunlin, governor of Jiangsu, required governments all over the province to promote high-quality development and create high-quality life with a correct view of political achievements. He made the remarks on Tuesday when meeting with the local people of Huai’an concerning public complaints and proposals.
When inspecting Huai’an Reception Center for Public Complaints and Proposals, Xu Kunlin worked with local Party committees, governments, functional departments such as housing and construction, public complaints and proposals to provide solutions one by one.
Xu Kunlin visited the west side of Dongsheng Garden Community to learn about the complaints from the masses. He demanded that officials at all levels visit the grassroots communities with a problem consciousness, face conflicts directly, and substantively solve the urgent and difficult problems of the people.
Xu Kunlin stressed that the local government must adhere to and develop the "Fengqiao Experience" and "Pujiang Experience" in the new era, coordinate the complaint work, improve the efficiency and quality of online complaint handling, and timely resolve conflicts and disputes at the grass-roots level and in the bud.
He requested governments at all levels to study systematic and fundamental solutions to problems, regard petition work as an important channel for understanding public opinion and conducting surveys and research, take more measures that benefit people's livelihoods and warm their hearts, truly implement government work, and achieve new improvements in promoting the modernization of social governance.

When inspecting the Zhongtian high-quality steel cord project, Xu Kunlin encouraged the enterprise to adhere to the high-end, intelligent and green development direction, make greater efforts to carry out in-depth cooperation between industry, university and research institutes, promote integrated innovation of the industrial chain, and help Jiangsu constantly consolidate its leading position in traditional industries.
When inspecting Jietai New Energy, Trina Solar high-efficiency batteries and high-power photovoltaic modules, BYD new energy commercial vehicles and parts projects, Xu Kunlin said that the construction of major projects is the key to high-quality development, adding that Jiangsu will continue to strengthen the guarantee and capacity support of science and technology, talents, water transportation, energy and other aspects to provide guarantee for project promotion.
The governor hoped that the enterprise can seize opportunities for carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, expand market space, and create competitive advantages with more new technologies and products, contribute more to strengthening the industrial chain, drive the significant improvement of industrial level with the rapid agglomeration of major projects, and accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system with advanced manufacturing as the backbone through major projects.
