On summer nights, the night economy in various parts of Jiangsu continues to heat up, with people enjoying night scenery, tasting food, and watching performances, forming a lively night consumption scenario that continues to revitalize the economy.
As night falls, the 2023 Summer Night Consumption Festival and the Xuyi Crayfish Feast for Ten Thousand People were kicked off. Crayfish of thirteen spices, garlic puree, chilled, pickled vegetables, and dozens of other flavors treated the diners with a pungent aroma. This summer night consumption festival and Xuyi lobster feast for ten thousand people will last for one month. Featuring "food+ bazaar+ activities+performances", the festival will see the issuance of 200 thousand cultural tourism vouchers.
The organizing committee has launched promotional packages such as free tours to Xuyi’s scenic spots, creating a summer carnival for citizens and tourists.
At 7:30 pm, Suqian’s summer food carnival saw acrobatic performances, classical dance, crayfish and beer, citizens and tourists enjoyed the passionate nightlife to their heart's content.
Sheyang held a summer square art week by setting up a special Huai Opera show to show the techniques of intangible cultural heritages such as sugar painting, dough sculpture and paper cuttings. The Seaside Restaurant project, newly built with 18 million yuan of investment, has settled 36 restaurants and 5 barbecue stalls to accommodate 2000 diners at the same time.
