On the early morning of August 15th, a B757-200F cargo plane carrying clothing, and mechanical components took off from Nantong Airport and flew to Huahu Airport in Ezhou of Hubei province, the first professional freight airport in China and the fourth in the world. The opening of this route will help Nantong integrate into the national "air freight corridor".
The Nantong Ezhou cargo plane route, operated by SF Air on 5 flights per week, will gradually increase to 7 flights per week in the future.
The opening of this new route has further expanded the aviation logistics channel of Nantong Airport and improved the accessibility and convenience of aviation logistics in Nantong and its surrounding areas.
Since settling at Nantong Airport in 2011, SF Air has flown to 15 destinations from Nantong Airport, injecting strong momentum into the sustained development of Nantong's aviation logistics industry. Since this month, Nantong Airport has opened all-cargo flights to Zhengzhou and Ezhou.
