East China’s Jiangsu province has 779 enterprises in the intelligent connected vehicle industry chain, according to the recently released provincial intelligent connected vehicle industry development report.
The report shows that Jiangsu has a strong development momentum in the new energy and intelligent connected vehicle industries. In 2022, the proportion of new energy vehicles in the province's automobile production reached 41.8%, an increase of about 22 percentage points compared to 2021, and higher than the national average level of 26.1% during the same period.
Jiangsu registered 779 intelligent connected vehicle industry chain enterprises, with a recorded revenue of 145.84 billion yuan in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 17%.
Jiangsu currently registers 30000 to 40000 talents engaged in the field of intelligent connected vehicles, including 79.9% with bachelor's and master's degrees, and 8.79% with doctoral degrees.
