East China’s Jiangsu province kicked off on Monday morning the 2023 China Industrial Software Supply and Demand Conference and the China Nanjing Software Expo.
This is the 19th year that Jiangsu has hosted the China Nanjing Software Expo. The theme of this year's conference is "Software Empowering Digital and Physical Integration", with a focus on the software industry and cutting-edge hotspots of the digital economy.
At the opening ceremony, the first open-source software integrated facility in China launched version 3.0 which has accumulated over 140 million pieces of open-source software for analysis so as to form the largest open-source software knowledge graph in China and provide support for building an independent, controllable, safe and reliable software supply chain system.
The "2023 Research Report on the Development of China's Industrial Software Industry" and the "Zijin Index for High Quality Development of China's Software Industry (2023)" were also released at the opening ceremony, presenting the development trend of the software industry from two perspectives: segmented industries and urban development.
In the metaverse exhibition area, AI digital speakers deliver speeches and immersive theatrical performances that echo virtual and real worlds, presenting flexible and vivid displays.
The digital economy exhibition area presented a dazzling array of innovative applications in various fields such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things.
This home smart box, which is only the size of a book, not only integrates routers, memory, and smart home control, meeting all the needs of office, life, and entertainment, but also enhances the ability to connect devices through computing power sharing.
“A camera with only a simple 360 degree pan tilt function can be endowed with AI facial recognition capability through our device. This is a feature that it does not have when it leaves the factory but it was shared by our box computing power”, a technician of an enterprise said.
“In terms of industry application software, basic software and hardware, and information security, Software Valley has organized a group of industry leading enterprises to participate in the exhibition. These application softwares have been reflected in smart transportation, smart healthcare, and smart cities”, Rong Yan, Vice Minister of Industrial Development Department of China (Nanjing)Software Valley Administration, said.
As a sign of endorsing the current trend of the integration of digital technology and the real economy, the exhibition has set up an industrial software museum, with a batch of new technologies, products, and scenes showcasing themselves setting up an "industry benchmark".
“We have launched the world's first carbon metering edge all-in-one machine. You can think of it as a ‘medical examination’ device. It can conduct real-time monitoring of all equipment and factories within the enterprise, generate reports, and tell the current carbon emissions situation of the enterprise, as well as where further reductions can be made”, Qiu Weiwen, Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Qingtian Industrial Internet Co., Ltd., said.
This integrated management software system has been widely used in industries such as chemical, steel, and construction to serve hundreds of enterprises since its launch merely a year ago.
In the field of industrial design software, many domestic alternative technologies are also constantly emerging. This 3D CAD software independently developed by a domestic enterprise is currently designing and modifying a bulldozer model with over 13000 components, ensuring high-speed, stable, and smooth operation throughout the entire process.
“This device is mainly used in equipment manufacturing, high-tech electronics, rail transit, and new energy industries, and can seamlessly integrate with the existing digital systems of enterprises, indicating that domestic 3D CAD substitution has become a reality”, Ye Xiuzi, Chairman and Chief Scientist of Shanghai Xindi Digital Technology Co., Ltd., said.
The conference will continue until August 23rd. A series of special activities will be held around investment attraction, project cooperation, talent exchange, and product trading to promote the high-quality development of the software and information service industry.
