The 5th Zijin International Intellectual Property Summit, co-hosted by the Nanjing Municipal Government and the Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Office, opened in Nanjing on Sunday morning.
Nearly 1000 participants, including representatives of the World Intellectual Property Organization, the China National Intellectual Property Administration, and internationally renowned institutions, shared forward-looking analysis and thinking at the summit that is themed on intellectual property and leading national innovative cities.
Multiple achievements were released and the Biopharmaceutical Industry Intellectual Property Operation Center was launched at the opening ceremony. The eight major industrial clusters, including the Nanjing New Electric Power Smart Grid Equipment Industry Cluster and the Xuzhou Construction Machinery Industry Cluster, signed contracts with relevant intellectual property departments for the new round of industrial talent docking for "intellectual property assistance to enhance the industrial chain".
The full chain protection of intellectual property execution was launched. The evaluation report on intellectual property competitiveness of national key cities was released on site. Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou continue to lead the ranking, with 9 cities in Jiangsu being listed in the top 50 and Nanjing and Suzhou ranking fifth and seventh respectively.
