According to a document recently issued by the Provincial Government Office, Jiangsu will make every effort to implement the employment priority strategy, further stabilize and expand employment, and fully promote development and benefit people's livelihoods.
Jiangsu will clearly stimulate market vitality and expand employment capacity, implement employment security actions by employment-friendly key enterprises, sort out and determine the list of key industrial chain enterprises with strong employment promotion abilities in the local areas, arrange employment service specialists, and provide job information collection and skill training services.
For enterprises that recruit target groups of people for employment, Jiangsu will release a package of policies such as social insurance subsidies, employment subsidies, and vocational training subsidies.
Jiangsu will also provide one-time job expansion subsidies of 1500 yuan per person to enterprises that recruit college graduates and register unemployed young people aged 16-24 by signing labor contracts, and paying unemployment, work-related injury, and employee pension insurance premiums for at least one month.
The province will ensure that the number of vacancies reserved for fresh college graduates in public institutions is not less than 50% of the total number of their positions. At the same time, Jiangsu will mobilize various emerging industries and develop 100000 high-quality employment internship positions.
Efforts will be made to promote various key industrial clusters, leading enterprises, chain leaders, technical vocational colleges, and vocational training institutions to carry out skill training, and promote the alleviation of structural employment contradictions.
