Jiangsu Talent Week was held at Peking University on Saturday morning under the joint sponsorship of the Organization Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and the Provincial Department of Science and Technology.
In the gymnasium of Peking University, 120 institutions and enterprises from Jiangsu provide over 10000 job vacancies to recruit talents. Provincial state-owned enterprises involve a variety of industrial types and a wide range of business fields, making them highly attractive to talents.
Key universities such as Nanjing University and Southeast University, as well as major research platforms such as Zijinshan Laboratory, need to reserve a large number of talents. Many little giant enterprises and unicorn enterprises in emerging industries, due to their strong market competitiveness and development potential, can provide a broad stage for talents to showcase their expertise.
“We will recruit more than 100 fresh college graduates for hardware research and development and cloud-based software research and development. They will be working at our headquarters in Changzhou, as well as in Nanjing, Hangzhou, and overseas locations. We provide undergraduate graduates with an annual salary ranging from 200000 to 400000 yuan”, Cao Yafei, Director of Human Resources at Wanbang Digital Energy Co., Ltd., said.
A large number of students from Peking University and nearby universities showed up for consultation. The organizations and enterprises received 3000 resumes, reached preliminary intentions with nearly 500 college graduates, and signed contracts with some job seekers.
“I am a doctoral candidate in chemistry, studying chemical methods and anti-tumor drugs. There are many pharmaceutical companies in Jiangsu that can provide us with many related positions, so I have many choices”, Peng Xinxin, PhD Candidate in Chemistry at Peking University, said.
“I really want to go to cities in Jiangsu, especially cities like Suzhou and Nanjing. The salary provided by Jiangsu is definitely top-notch, reflecting Jiangsu's emphasis on talent”, Sheng Jie, PhD in Basic Medicine at Peking University, said.
Coordinated by provincial-level institutions in Jiangsu and jointly participated by 13 prefecture level cities, the Jiangsu Talent Week was held in Beijing with 795 organizations and enterprises providing 38000 high-quality job vacancies.
