East China’s Jiangsu province has recorded five consecutive months of month on month growth in imports and exports since the beginning of this year, with private enterprises becoming the main force in stabilizing foreign trade growth.
At the Changzhou production base of Jiangsu Xiaoniu Electric Technology, electric scooters were being assembled and taken offline one by one. These scooters will be tested one by one before being shipped overseas.
One of the electric scooters with a frame made of pure carbon fiber has gained popularity among many overseas consumers since its launch.
“It is very light, and I can basically pick it up with one hand. Its latest version weighs only 11.7 kilograms”, Di Sulei, Product Manager of the Xiaoniu Electric Short Travel Business Unit, said.
In recent years, Xiaoniu electric vehicle has continuously targeted user needs, constantly innovating and enriching product matrices, thereby leading the two-wheeled electric vehicle industry towards more personalized and professional development.
In the meantime, Xiaoniu electric vehicle is also fully utilizing overseas shopping platforms such as Amazon to promote exports and strengthen Chinese brands overseas. In the third quarter, the company recorded overseas market sales of 35500 vehicles.
“We have expanded the entire new category of scooters since last year and the year before, so the sales of scooters have also made good progress this year. In the meantime,We have a market share of 20-30% in the electric motorcycle market in Europe, which has also laid a good sales foundation for us”, Li Yan, CEO of Xiaoniu Scooter, said.
Since the beginning of this year, private enterprises in Jiangsu have continuously strengthened their innovation awareness, improved their adaptability, and opened up overseas markets, becoming the ballast of the province’s stable foreign trade.
According to the latest statistical data released by Nanjing Customs, in the first three quarters, private enterprises in Jiangsu recorded 1.68 trillion yuan of imports and exports,up 4.2% year on year with the proportion increasing by 4.5 percentage points to 43.9%, stimulating the province's imports and exports by 1.7 percentage points.
