The 10th Jiangsu Internet Conference opened in Nanjing on Monday, with the theme of "integrating data and reality to increase momentum, leading innovation and promoting development". Zhang Aijun, member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of the Provincial Party Committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
Zhang Aijun pointed out that in recent years, the provincial party committee and government have deeply implemented the Xi Jinping Thought on Culture and General Secretary Xi Jinping's important idea of building a strong cyber powerhouse, accelerating the construction of a cyber powerhouse and a digital Jiangsu so that last year the province recorded a proportion of 11% in the regional GDP contributed by the added value of the core industries of the digital economy. In the meantime, the digital security barrier has become credible and controllable, and the support of digital technology for ensuring people's livelihoods and social governance continues to be strengthened.
The opening ceremony saw the launch of the Jiangsu Artificial Intelligence Big Model Empowerment Plan and the release of the 2023 Digital Jiangsu Development Report, the Provincial Information and Communication Industry Development Report, and the Jiangsu Metaverse Industry Development Action Plan.
